October Update 2019

This month we achieved one very important goal; this marks a huge milestone for Capture the Vision! We now have TWO dates, at TWO locations! We are better able to serve Pueblo  by offering services in the Mesa Junction and Bessemer communities. Our first event, at Excell Laundry, was a bit cold as Pueblo was hit with its first snow storm. Despite this, we filled every washer and dryer! At our second event, Lady Fair, we were warmly welcomed by the  owners and were able to connect with a whole new group of individuals and families. We assisted families and individuals that are struggling, a family living in a hotel, and some living in camps at the river bottom. Thank you to all of our donors and volunteers for your support and sacrifice

Some may think that we are assisting the same people over and over, making little difference or life change. A few months back we began to notice a trend that is contrary to this thought. While it is true that we do assist some of the same families on a regular basis; new clients represent 50-60% of our daily total. This means that our donors and volunteer support are reaching at least 15-20 new families per event! We are excited to see that our efforts are truly helping the community.

We continue to believe that we WILL find a solution to meet the need for SHOWERS, create a long-term and sustainable FAMILY HYGIENE program, and sponsor Pueblo City School TEACHERS with necessary supplies. TOGETHER we will do great things!

THIS IS WORTH REPEATING!!!! Our success is a community effort; our team continues to grow and is made up of  business owners, churches, and clubs; supporters range from high school students, college students, young adults, retirees, and more. We are many individuals from all walks of life that are coming together to help those in need to become thriving members of society. Team Capture the Vision provides CRITICAL services such as clean laundry and hygiene supplies so that families can go to WORK, attend SCHOOL, and live life with DIGNITY. We are passionate about Pueblo! We are community driven! We are an all-volunteer team.

Thank you for another fantastic and successful month!!!
